    Reviewed Thin Sandwich Buns

"These are easy to make and taste fantastic! I only had bran flour but already ordered oat fiber to try again. I used the first 15 minutes of my bread machine's dough cycle to get the first ingredients mixed, then removed for 35 minutes, added back into bread machine pan, added the rest of the flour, mixed 8 minutes, then removed to rise as instruct..."

    Reviewed Man-Catcher Brownies

"I made these yesterday. I used 1 cup regular and 1 cup dutch process cocoa, for no good reason other than I wasn't sure which to use. These are perfect brownies. I'll never use another recipe."

    Reviewed Indonesian Chicken

"I really liked this, I made my own hoisin sauce so at first taste, the flavor was a teensy bit dull.....could be (and probably is my fault). So, after it was cooked, I added about 1/4 tsp. of chinese five spice powder and, although it probably goes against authenticity of the recipe, it was slurpingly tasty!"

    Reviewed Moroccan Carrot Dip

"This was delicious! I made it for a party so I left out the olives, in case some people didn't like them, and I subbed dried cilantro because i didn't have fresh. It was gone quickly! Incidentally, I make my own baby food and could never get my youngest to like carrots as the older too did....On a whim, I gave hime some of this while I was prepping..."

    Reviewed Grilled Mexican Chicken Breast

"This was wonderful! Very refreshing and tangy. I gave mine a little more heat by adding diced up jarred jalapeno's (a little over 1/8 cup), and because it is January in NY, I baked in oven, would love to grill these though! I will make them again the right way, and I'm going to add them to my party appetizers collection, because I think they'd be g..."

Reviewed Oatmeal and Brown Sugar Toasting Bread

"Get this recipe, put it in your permanent recipe file....MAKE IT!! It is fabulous bread, by far makes the best toast of all the breads I've tried (and I've tried A LOT.....have not bought bread in 6 years!). Try it, you'll be very happy."

    About Me

Married to a loving man for 9 years, SAHM to two great kids, love to cook in my spare time (obviously) as well as read and garden. I love to clean, too...sometimes I think I was born 50 years late. We love animals too and have 4 dogs and 2 cats.

    Favorite Foods

Healthy, spicy, easy....in that order. I love fresh veggies and fruits and am always looking for new ways to prepare them and make them more desirable to my family. Thanks to 'zaar I've tried (and loved) more etnic dishes than I ever would have with just a cookbook.
