"This is FABULOUS! I mixed the flour a little at a time into the juice/melted butter until well mixed, then added the sugar and mixed, then stirred pineapple in, and lastly extra sharp cheddar cheese. Used 7 1/2 inch by 5 inch corningware dish. This is so good and would be easy to make a lot of for a buffet table. I used it for brunch with cris..."

"This was very good! For my taste, I think the amount of butter was a little too much to go with brown rice (would have been fine for white rice. But the mixture of the pecans with onion/garlic went well with the rice. Thanks!"

"I had a feeling when I read this recipe that it would be very different and it is! In a great way! It does have a custard-like consistency, but the flavor is immediately that familiar pancake taste! I made 1/3 of the recipe and it filled two good sized ramekins. I served with maple syrup but I think I'll try a berry medley next time. Very unu..."

"These are amazingly moist muffins! I used mini-muffin tins which reduced the baking time to 10 min. Quite a few ingredients, but well worth it. I will make these again and again. Thanks!!!!"

"Great muffins! I did find they needed only 13 - 15 minutes in my oven. They are definitely not sweet, which is fine with me. I think they'd be a good substitute for corn muffins or cornbread to go with lentils, soup, etc. And couldn't be easier to throw together quickly!"

"Wonderful and very spicy! The cardamom makes the cookie extra special. I added 1 tsp cinnamon beyond the 1 Tbs in ingredient list, otherwise followed the recipe. I did find that for my oven, they only took 7 min or so to brown lightly on bottom. Will definitely make again - a nice addition to Christmas munchies!"

"Ultimate comfort food! After reading the other reviews, I used extra sharp cheddar (self-grated, always, added a little cayenne and ground mustard, topped with a little panko and paprika. Excellent! I used a deeper dish than it looks from the photos, and I liked the resulting height. Took 40 min. Will definitely make again!"

"This is a very unique cornbread! Not sweet in the least (which is fine with me, and an unusual assortment of flavors and textures. Truly enjoyed it, and easy to make. Will definitely make again. Thanks, Ice Cool Kitty!!!"

"Excellent! I used honey, garlic powder, regular salt, a little extra cracked black pepper - all else as written. Marinated exactly 6 hours. Very tasty. I was surprised at the layers of flavor - the subtle honey is almost an aftertaste with each bite. Delish, and should appeal to a wide variety of people's tastes - you could serve a big party..."

"Really good. I put the bacon/onion on top of the cheese, then added the cream/egg mixture. Used 1/4 tsp nutmeg. Dusted top with paprika. Took 45 minutes cooking time. Tasty treat! Good for leftovers, too."
