Reviewed Flourless Chocolate Cake in a Cup

     |  By Chef #1137812

"Well, I know the other two reviewers were in love with this recipe, but I simply was not. It was amazing that it made a little cake-like thing, but it was not at all tasty. I followed the directions exactly, but was disappointed when it came out tasting nothing like a cake. It was still goo on the bottom, and the goo was not good."

"I followed the recipe exactly as written, but we just weren't crazy about this. The sage overpowered all the other flavors. Thanks though! I loved the idea of wonton wrappers as ravioli casings."

"This dressing may be the best one I've ever had. We used a couple of cloves of garlic that were pickled instead of fresh (it tends to give my DM indegestion fresh, and also added a little of the garlic "juice" from the jar. It was so great. The texture was perfect. We added a little honey because we overdid it on the vinegar. It was still perfect..."

     |  By Rita~

"This was super easy to make, but my family wasn't crazy about this. I mean, the corn came out perfectly done, but we didn't feel like the flavors meshed well. While I'll keep the grilling method, I think we'll try a different spice combo next time. Thanks!"

"This was amazing! I left out the coconut and the nuts due to allergies but followed everything exact other than that. I also went ahead and used some chocolate dipped strawberries to cover the top of the cake; it really did look like a blue ribbon winner!! The jello and fresh strawberries make the cake such a pretty color. Absolutely great recipe...."

"This was super easy to make, and tastes so delicious. I made this for a beverage recipe I had (where you add a scoop of the granita to a little tequila and sprite. They were to die for! This also really perks up anything sweet that calls for a lime flavoring. I really recommend this delightful and great recipe. Everyone that tried here loved it (..."

"Although I had to leave out the cloves of garlic, and used garlic powder instead, it worked just fine, because this recipe is outstanding!!! I also followed the other reviewers suggestion of just mashing it a little with a fork instead of food processor and that worked fine. It was all gone by the end of the night. We ate it on veggies, and when t..."

"Followed this exactly as directions stated, but was less than impressed. I used a quality vodka and fresh lemons off my tree, but it came out tasting like a lemon-cleaner smells. I must have done something wrong... but I can't figure out where. I ended up just pouring it all down the drain."

"Reading this, it seemed far too simple to be any good, but boy was I wrong!! It's fantastic!! I also added a small can of green chilies for a little more spice. I only had one can of black beans, so I used a can of white beans instead. It was so wonderful with a little sour cream on top. This is a real winner for those "in a hurry" nights where on..."

"I read through all the reviews, and made changes accordingly. I used a little more old bay (we like old bay quite a lot, added a little parsley, two tablespoons of a vidalia onion and used freshly ground black pepper. I also rolled them in crumbs at the end, and brushed them with a lemon-butter mixture (literally, just some butter with a little l..."
