Reviewed Grandma's Rainy Day Kimchi Noodle Soup

"I've made this several times now, and LOVE it!! I omit the tofu and use shrimp instead of pork, otherwise, I pretty much follow the recipe exactly. This is perfect for chilly days and/or when you've got a cold. Thanks for the great recipe!!"

    Reviewed Winter Meatloaf

"This was REALLY good! I've been on a serious hunt for the perfect meatloaf and this comes pretty close. The only change that I made was to add 2 cloves of garlic and a few dashes of worcestershire sauce. My 2 kids loved it and my husband who usually hates meatloaf was a huge fan. Thanks for the great recipe!!"

    Reviewed Cuban Picadillo

"I actually thought this was awesome!!! I LOVED the combo of flavors and, at first glance, it looks more complicated than it is. This one is definitely going to be in the regular rotation - thanks!!"

    Shared Recipe Lemon Deliciousness

"This is a refreshing, summery cocktail that I made up while trying to think of things to do with Limoncello that I had. They go down easy, but they're strong so be careful. Enjoy!!"

Reviewed Halibut With Blood Orange and Fennel

"This is SO easy to make, and the flavor combo is so much better and more dynamic than I thought it would be. I used cod instead of halibut, and you could broil or grill the fish too. An absolutely fantastic recipe - thanks for posting!!"

    Reviewed Healthy Coconut Shrimp

"Fantastic!! It's a little pokey to dip/coat all the shrimp, but totally worth it. Completely delicious - thanks for a great recipe!!"

    About Me

I live in Minneapolis with my husband and our dog Dexter. We just got married in Oct. of 2006 and live in an old house that we remodeled ourselves and turned into a duplex. He's a med student and is just starting his residency in family practice. I'm an adult mental health case manager. My job is super-stressful and takes up most of the brain power that I have in a day, but cooking is relaxing to me, and I love trying new combinations of foods.

    Favorite Foods

We both really love to eat, and have very few foods that we dislike. I love fish and seafood, and am always looking for different ways to prepare them. I really like trying out recipes from different ethnicities, and have been so impressed with the wide variety on recipezaar.
