    I'm a 28-year-old mom and wife who secretly wants to be the next food network star. I'm always trying to figure out new ways to please my picky 5-year-old and my even pickier husband. I don't like to follow recipes, but I love to look to them for ideas :)

    Favorite Foods

    There are so many. I don't eat much red meat, but aside from that, I can't think of much that I don't like.
    Top 5 all-time go-to favorites, without which I would be lost:
    1. tuna melts on rye bread with extra sharp cheddar cheese
    2. my dad's famous fish fry
    3. potatoes (in any and all forms, minus tater tots)
    4. hummus with warm pita chips
    5. runny-yolk eggs with rye toast
