    Reviewed Chocolate Truffles

    "I made the grapefruit variation of these, and it was fantastic!! The only downside I found was that, when I let the mixture cool the amount of time stated in the recipe, it was still very soft so my truffles are a little puddle-shaped. However, with the mixture of sugar and grapefruit zest on top, they are still pretty, and the taste is phenomenal ..."

    "Although these are delicious, I was really hoping to taste the pepper more. I think calling them "spicy" is a definite misnomer. However, if you like a little bit of chili flavor in your chocolate, this is a good recipe."

    "I tried this recipe today and it is DELICIOUS! I used a combination of Bosc and Bartlett pears and it worked wonderfully. This was my first canning experience and the cook time in the recipe was perfect. If you're an experienced canner, it would probably not take quite that long."
