    I had cauliflower and buttermilk to use up and never expected to find a recipe that used both. Even better, it was delicious! My roommate's a vegetarian, so I substituted olive oil for the bacon grease (but obviously still put crumbled bacon on top of mine!), and the substitution worked fine. The potatoes were a huge hit, and there was not a crumb...

    I made the grapefruit variation of these, and it was fantastic!! The only downside I found was that, when I let the mixture cool the amount of time stated in the recipe, it was still very soft so my truffles are a little puddle-shaped. However, with the mixture of sugar and grapefruit zest on top, they are still pretty, and the taste is phenomenal"

    Although these are delicious, I was really hoping to taste the pepper more. I think calling them "spicy" is a definite misnomer. However, if you like a little bit of chili flavor in your chocolate, this is a good recipe."
