"Thanks for posting! I know people hate it when reviewers say they liked the recipe yet changed it, but I'm going to say what I did just in case anyone else is stuck with an empty pantry like me and is curious about substitutions! I really didn't change much. Realized I had no egg or elbow noodles so I broke up and cooked some lasagna noodles instea..."

"Thank you SO much for posting this - and noting in the explanation there were no raisins or pineapple! My neighbor gave me a ton of carrots and I didn't know what to do with them. Thought I'd try a cake - and it was the BEST cake I ever made!!!! The only thing different was I used buttercream icing instead of cream cheese. Used a 9x13 pan. This ..."

    Reviewed Chocolate Oatmeal Cake

"Thanks for posting. Incredibly easy to make. Was looking for a recipe w/o brown sugar or butter as my cupboard is bare but I was craving a treat. Like the other reviewer said, the chips sunk into the cake as it cooled. Mine also turned out a bit burnt on top but was only in the oven for 40 minutes. Weird."

    About Me

The pics are of my favorite band, Night Ranger. All pics of me were too large for the site...sorry! But since nranger7 is my name, it kinda fits to have a pic of them!

I enjoy baking in my spare time. My coworkers love me because I regularly bring them cookies. I recently started dabbling in baking pies too. I've been told I should bake for a living, but I'm sure it wouldn't be as fun if I HAD to do it all the time! :)

    Favorite Foods

Chocolate is probably my favorite food! LOL!
I'm a meat and potatoes type of person, but enjoy many Italian and seafood dishes too. My mom never taught me to cook "real" food (I was allowed to make desserts only), so I have limited knowledge when it comes to making regular meals. I'm always on the lookout for new recipes that are quick and easy. I can't eat fruit and most cheeses so that doesn't help matters much... :(
