"I made several changes to this to make it even more low cal! Maybe I overdid it a little... I used reduced fat cocoa, splenda instead of sugar and only 2/3 cup and replaced buttermilk with low fat plain yoghurt. The texture is a bit springy/spongy but the taste is just right, not too sweet. Maybe could do with a bit more banana as DH asked when I ..."

"Wonderful simple recipe full of flavor! I used rice vermicelli in place of cellophane noodles since that's what I had at home. I cooked the vermicelli for a couple of minutes first until softened, rinsed with cold water and set aside. We're not into hot and spicy food so we left out the red pepper flakes and of course no hot sauce at the end! Also..."

"I've never baked cookies before but this recipe was unbelievably simple with really great results! I actually only instructed my DH while I was cooking dinner and he managed just fine, which shows exactly how easy it must be! The cookies weren't chewy as such but definitely were not crumbly and hard like you would expect from a cookie. Very nice s..."

"I haven't baked for years! This simple recipe was great to get back into baking! I kind of combined this one with another recipe using powdered sugar and used less flour than in the recipe and forgot the salt but it still came out lovely and buttery. It was very dense but still soft, even the next day. Will definitely make again! Thanks for the re..."

"This turned out great and wasn't half as difficult as I thought it would be! I made some changes though. First, I didn't have creole seasoning at home, only cajun, so I made a cajun gumbo instead! I'd read elsewhere that cajun gumbo required a lighter roux so I only cooked my roux on low heat for about 15 mins until it was a rich peanut butter col..."

"I made these a little while ago and thought I would make them again tonight. On going through the ingredients I realised I had missed the molasses out last time. However, it did not detract from the taste at all (maybe I added extra honey, and I used sweet chilli sauce instead so that may have helped, I don't really remember. The chicken wings we..."
