    About Me

i live in the san francisco bay area. for over 25 years, i've been a busy stay at home mom to our four sons, ages 16-25. i volunteer as a baby cuddler in the intensive care nursery in a local hospital. this is very fulfilling for me and i love it so much i decided to be a nurse myself. i am now going to school full-time and almost done with my first year in an RN program. i have always enjoyed cooking and used alot of sunset magazine and cookbook recipes. not anymore since i've found recipezaar!!
when not busy studying, i love to garden, meet friends for hikes or coffee, and walk with our two retrievers.
i was diagnosed conclusively a month ago that i have celiac disease - no more gluten for me, no wheat, barley, rye or oats. so i am now learning a whole new way of eating which i will have for the rest of my life. but no more unhappy gut!

    Favorite Foods

pretty much anything, especially vietnamese, thai, japanese and mexican.
