    About Me

I enjoy fishing and camping holidays - weekends or weeks on end and our group of friends do the cooking on a roster basis so everyone has a go at their speciality. We've had some weird and wonderful (& horrible!!) concotions to say the least - but generally we enjoy what we get. Luv to try the cookbook ideas in the bush with limited utensils & ovens. Camp oven or BBQ does for most meals. We like to 'experiment' a lot and we have to substitute many of the herbs & spices as you just cant carry a huge range.

    Favorite Foods

Fresh seafood cooked any-way. When fish are on, make to most of what you catch. experiment in different ways to cook fish. Just because the cookbook says 'grill' try something offbeat. BBQ shark chunks with blackbean sauce was very tasty.
Mock fish (grated potatoe and grilled) is nice for breakfast with onions & lambs fry.
