I just moved to NYC and that's amazing! I wanted to cook Tagliolini with lemon and Parma ham, but I don't know where to buy Italian food here. I also read on a magazine that it's full of fake Italian products. I am not sure what does fake Italian products mean, so I was wondering.. is that so difficult for an American to recognize..."

I am an Italian post-graduate student just moved to New York City.
I love Italian food (..of course) but I appreciate Asian and fusion food as well. I like experiments and if you do it by yourself it's tastier!
