"Super duper awesome muffins!! I used whole wheat flour and whole oats, Sun Crystals in place of the sugar, applesauce in place of the oil, and Craisins in place of the cranberries. (Ok, 3 steps in the right direction... but craisins are sooo tasty!! Great balance of orange to cranberry flavor, and wonderful texture from the walnuts. Mmmmm. I will..."

"I'm only giving this recipe four stars for two reasons: 1 It did not fill our pan. I had to slice two more apples and place on top of the filling to make our Pyrex pie pan look full. 2 Since the apples need to be simmered, most of the apples (all besides the ones added on top were too soft. NEXT TIME, because there WILL be a next time, I will j..."

"WOW. Very great cornbread! Could definitely be dessert--next time I'm going to do what chef #540346 reccommended and reduce sugar to 3/4 c. to serve with dinner. WAAAY better than Jiffy, and that has been my "go-to" for so long, because I could never find a "from scratch" that could beat it. Also, real easy to half the recipe for a smaller amount...."

"I'm so glad to see this on here! I, too, found this lovely recipe on a bag of egg noodles. It's so great! I half the amount of parsley and add Italian Seasonings for the second half. (1.5 Tbsp of each, big flavor increase! The only problem is there are waaay more steps than I would like to take for a casserole, but the taste outweighs my dish si..."

"WONDERFUL! Best chocolate cake that I or my husband, and many of our guests, had ever had the pleasure of eating. But, do remove the cakes from the pan at 10 minutes. We did not, and ended up having to make another batch. (Oh, darn... eat the "ugly one" We salvaged one layer, though, and ended up with three. How delightfully decadent!"

"VERY Tasty! I did add extra pepper, and a bay leaf, and used Miss Jane's Crazy Mixed Up Salt to give it some more kick. (Good stuff, if you've never tried it! I also skimmed off some of the fat out of the broth by chilling before proceeding to the dumplings part. Also-- ADD THE EGG IN WITH THE MILK for the dumplings. MMMmmm!"

"I really enjoyed it. I made it as mini-cheesecakes by putting it in a lined muffin pan with a gingersnap as the crust. The only reason this is not a 5-star is because I had a difficult time figuring out how long to bake it. Otherwise, though, they were the hit dessert for the pumpkin lovers of the party! Thanks!!"

"If there was a streussel topping, it would make it more palatable. These were waaaay too tart, and pretty heavy. (My baking powder is in date, and everything. I couldn't even finish eating one!!"
