"This recipe didn't turn out very well for me. That being said, I did decrease the sugar to 1 cup, because I thought it was too much and I cooked it in a bundt pan, which could be the reasons why. So if you are making this recipe don't make the same mistake as me. Happy Baking!!"

"This was THE whoopie pie recipe that I had been looking for!! Thank you for posting. I made these for a bake sale and they were the first sold-out item. I did have to skip on the filling though, just used regular icing, next time I'm going to try the filling I'm sure it will make them even better!"

"Didn't have time to put this in the slow cooker, so cooked it in the oven. Don't think that the flavors had enough time to develop, the pork didn't pick up any of the apple or onion. Would try again, but in the slow cooker."
