    My Journal

I have no recent activity to share.

    About Me

I'm in southwestern Ontario, Canada and am currently cooking low carb meals to reduce my weight again .. I fell off the wagon so to speak with my last pregnancy and resulting surgery. So I gained 30 lbs back and am now working to get them off. Lost 7 of them so far.

    Favorite Foods

I love to cook and have been told I'm a good one ..must be genetic because my mum's a great cook and so was my grandmother :).

I like trying new and interesting foods to keep dinner interesting and the taste buds stimulated. I'm trying new combinations and am having a lot of fun with it. Even my son has gotten into the act with new foods. Thank the Lord that he's never been a fussy eater and will eat just about anything :D

Oneof my favourite summer veggies, is slicing any sort of "squashy" vegetable up (zucchini, squash, eggplant), putting your favourite spices on it and grilling it on the grill! Is it GOOD .. just did acorn squash the other night, was a wee bit flat in taste, and needed to grill a bit longer, but was actually good .. more spices and cooking time will improve the squash.
