    About Me

    I am a baker at heart, I can and love to bake just about everything (cakes, petit fours, bread, crackers, cookies, creme brulee, etc etc etc)... unfortunately this is a dangerous hobby for someone who recently found out she was hypoglycemic :P

    So now I'm trying cooking :D

    I am also a big tea fan, green and rooibos especially! I can't get enough of teavana's teas!

    Favorite Foods

    It's probably easier to note what I don't like... pretty much, it's just fish and seafood.

    As for what I am famous for... 32 (and growing) varieties of creme brulee which for a large gathering I do most of in little 1-2oz ramekins so the guests can eat several to try them out.

    The most common recipes I get asked for: dark fudge brownies, Neiman Marcus cookie v2, tiger brownies, any number of creme brulee varieties, gluten-free breads (my mom is celiac) & butter-pecan tarts.

    My favourite foods by category
    Red meat: rack of lamb
    Light meat: stuffed roasted turkey (thanksgiving is such a great holiday!)
    Vegetable: sweet potato!
    Fruit: peaches
    Dessert: creme brulee
