New Topic Smoked paprika, I don't have any. in Cooking Q & A

    "Hello fellow foodies,

It's been a while since I've been here in the forum, it looks different ~!

I have a question about smoked paprika- substituting for it anyway.

I was wondering if I might be able to cheat making some Swwet potato chips in the oven. While I don't have any smoked paprika, I do have liquid smoke and paprika.

    About Me

Born and raised in New England, now living in eastern-central U.S. Growing up was meat and potatoes for me and 3 brothers.
Closing in on 40 and for the past year I've started to explore the world of tastes beyond the bland, less than healthy typical American diet I was raised with. I am basically an eager food/cooking amatuer with an open mind.
I study astrology with the intention of helping people improve their lives. I have 3 cats, enjoy walking in nature, gardening veggies & flowers (but renting an apartment now :-( ,and my pet peeve is doing the dishes ;-)

    Favorite Foods

Trying to do more meatless meals and use ingredients based on the use of the book--Healing With Whole Foods.
I like a good bowl of chili esp. in the winter-time, strawberry-rhubarb pie, buffalo steaks on occasion, fresh produce especially asparagus and rutabega.
I'm incorporating some new foods into my diet/meals. Some are millet, mung beans, more tofu. Doing some eastern dishes.
I used to be the ziti-casserole queen, now I know a little bit more.
I just love Recipezaar--the recipes, people and forums!
