Cooking and baking have always been important and interesting to me, but developing more food intolerances in my advancing age has motivated me to find recipes that I like and they like me in return!
The person who inspires me to cook new things and in new ways is my adult daughter. She is my "chef extraordinare" and I love to try new baking & cooking recipes and techniques with her.
My husband is also a huge encourager--he always likes to try new dishes and will eat almost anything once and even clean up leftovers that didn't necessarily win any prize! Bless his heart! In his own right, he is a great meats cook and I defer to his knowledge on most protein foods.
I most enjoy baking bread but it goes straight to the hips so I need to be judicious in how often I make it.
My husband's favorite food that I make is Banana Muffins. Another recipe I've developed in the last five years is Pear Muffins.
