    About Me


    I live in Orlando, Fl., though I'm originally from the Atlanta area. I'm truely southern and most of my cooking experience has been in the traditional "fried or barbqued" area. Lately I've been trying to change that. When my DH told me I could do other things besides fry and bbq, my reply was "Like what?". I am learning many other things to do now.

    I work third shift for a local retailer and really enjoy it. For fun, my DH and I cook, garden and really enjoy our two dogs.

    Favorite Foods

    My favorite dish, and DH's, is an Eggplant Parmesan recipe I recently got from Zaar, though my most requested dish is Pecan Tarts. The recipe came from a cookbook I bought in Alabama, it was a collection of recipes from local cooks, it has many good recipes.

    I'm enjoying all the good info and recipes I'm getting from the Zaar, and DH is really enjoying being my no.1 sampler.
