I graduated from Scripps College, an amazing amazing school and part of the Claremont Consortium. For two years after graduation I worked in college access non-profits, helping low-income high school students apply to college with the hopes that they'll obtain the higher education experience I was blessed to have. Recently, I've returned to school to pursue my Masters in Postsecondary Administration and Student Affairs at the University of Southern California (I know, a mouthul). As a personal goal, I've decided to dive into learning how to cook simply by trying new recipes. Finding good ones are tough, mostly because I don't have a huge budget, me and my roommates are all picky eaters, and I'm pretty much a pescatarian. I'm willing to try anything once though ;)
A really good everything bagel with cream cheese and lox - nothing can beat it!
My favorite restaurant is Paseo's - a cuban sandwich shack. If you are in Seattle and have not been there yet, drop everything and GO NOW! Seriously...yummmmm
