"I halved the recipe and used Mrs. Jack's suggestion of adding carrots and zucchini a bit later. Turned out delicious. The chicken was very tender, and it smelled and tasted great. I did skip the mushrooms and pepper because my partner doesn't like them, but I think I'll add the pepper next time. Thank you!"

"The chicken was good and went well with the sauce. I substituted apple butter for apple jelly, and the sauce turned out very tart. I think next time I'll try it with the jelly. The sugar in the jelly might neutralize the tartness of the grapefruit."

"We marinated the chicken overnight. The flavor was good, but the "breading" of flour got soggy when we baked it (after browning in oil. Next time, I might skip the flour. Also, we didn't flatten the chicken, and it turned out juicy and tender. If I come up with any improvements next time, I'll comment again!"
