My mother was an awesome cook who was never afraid to try something new. I think I have inherited this trait because new recipes do not threaten me in the slightest. If they do not turn out right the first time, there is always another time to try! I am a former Educator, who taught, was a principal and then ended my career after ten years as Director of Special Services for the School District. I used to make goodies to take to work with me on ocassion to share with everyone on the floor.
I am married, have two children and one grandchild. Besides cooking, I enjoy reading, knitting, crochet, beading and quilting.
