    "This is our family's answer to macaroni and cheese with food allergy restrictions.     Shared Recipe Sweet and Sour Chicken

    "This recipe is adapted from several others I have come across to suit our tastes and food allergy needs. The spice can be increased by the addition of crushed red pepper flakes, but even without it is very flavorful and a favorite at our house. This recipe freezes well!"

    My husband is allergic to eggs, milk, and soy, which adds a whole new dimension to cooking. Forget Iron Chef's secret ingredient! I love the challenge of baking and cooking without certain staples. It means a lot of trial and error, but a lot of satisfaction when a recipe works out!
