"Pretty good! I used 2% milk and 2% cheese. Had a combo of cheddar and mont. jack cheese.. and a bit of an Italian blend on hand.. so that's what I used. I think the extra sharp would have been even better though...and mac & cheese is all about the quality of cheese.. so I'm sure results vary based on that. Topped with some bread crumbs as well...."

"great recipe. I only used 1Tbsp of sugar and about half the butter.. and still turned out great. I always eat these with maple syrup like my French Canadian grandmother used to do. mmm."

    About Me

I got married in October of 05... and moved down to the Outer Banks of North Carolina (originally from Northern VA)July 06. I am a freelance graphic designer and I am currently learning to surf on my longboard. I am 50% Italian...so I love most Italian meals and most red wine. : ) Seafood is another favorite of mine. I'm also half French Canadian...so I would like to try a nice meat pie or Candian Pea soup recipe.  We have a 2 year old boy. (and another on the way) and I'm trying to come up with new and creative ways to cook for him as well!

My favorite thing to do is bake. I'm trying to live healthy and somewhat organic...so that limits the baking!
My favorite cookbook is anything America's Test Kitchen.

    Favorite Foods

fresh seafood, most italian dishes, Thai, dark chocolate, and red wine!
I'm "famous" for my key lime pie and other desserts.
My husband calls my Thai coconut sauce with chicken and stir fried veggies... my "signature dish."

My fav restaurant?  Mama's Fish House in Maui!!!  mmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
