Reviewed Savory Chicken Pie
"I saw this on TV and it looked fantastic. I was ready to make a chicken pie and bought myself a Paula Deen pie pan. However this recipe had so many frustrating failures. First of all the room temperature butter would not spread on the chicken skin. The salt on the chicken was too much to the point where I could not use the remaining chicken juice in the recipe. Roasting thin potato slices with cut carrots is ridiculous, because the potatoes were done way before the carrots so my vegetables went in the trash so all I had was chicken in my pie. Will not make this again. Way to much time used for a disappointing finished product."
