    My Journal

I have no recent activity to share.

    About Me

I presently live in a high mountain valley in Colorado where the primary occupation is farming and ranching. My profession is dietetics, so I'm always interested in food! I enjoy outdoor activities and spending time with my family and friends. If I had a month off, I would spend time traveling around the world and sampling the international fare. I was recently married and have been experimenting with a variety of recipes I have found on recipezaar.com. My husband loves to sample and then rates the dishes. Fortunately, we haven't had any disasters.

    Favorite Foods

My favorite food to eat is Mexican, but I won't object to sampling other foods. I am just beginning to experiment more with international fare. However, I enjoy Middle Eastern and Indian food. The spices in Indian food are incredible. I have also developed a better taste for seafood. I try to prepare a variety of food, but there are some foods my husband thinks we should have every night. My favorite dessert restaurant is in Barcelona, Spain. Unfortunately, I can't remember the name. The almond soup is incredible and by far the best dessert I have ever sampled. Locally, we have a Chalet Swiss restaurant and a B&B that serves a similar type of food.
