A corporate exec by day and an enthusiastic cook by night! I enjoy the community of cooks I've come to know over the years and sharing stories and experiences of competing in various amateur contests! Food has been the center of my life all of my life! Every family gathering, every holiday, every meaningful friendship I've ever had revolves in some way around food! When my son came home from a very long 14 months in Iraq, I was cooking...and the first thing he said was "Mom - I love the smell of onions and garlic cooking. It smells like home." I've taught daughters, sons, daughters in law - and now my granddaughters to cook. Just like I learned from spending hours and hours watching my grandmother and my mother in the kitchen. I am so happy that "food" is now getting the public attention it deserves! And I'm happy and blessed to be part of the community! ***** TJ
