"I just finished this today. I thought i was doing something wrong. When you soak the lemon peels in the vodka, it will stay clear in color, but when you add the simple syrup, it will change to a beautiful lemon color. I used 100 proof smirnoff vodka because you can't buy Everclear in PA. It has a smooth taste, but not the punch i was expecti ..."

"I really enjoyed this. My husband thought it was a little sweet. I think if i used less marshmellows, it might help this. I also used 1/2 semi sweet choc and 1/2 bittersweet choc. Everything else was the same. Did take other readers advice but putting chocolate mixture in freezer while mixing up the whipped cream. It was really easy, too. "

Reviewed Toasted Pound Cake with Citrus Cream
     |  By thecookingPA-C

"I liked the pound cake. First it was easy and i liked the crispy texture after baking. I would recommend flipping them half way thru so both sides are crisp. At first i was shocked by the citrus flavor, but then really enjoyed it. I topped it with strawberries since they are in season. Very tasty!!"

"I just made these this morning for my kids as they love anything chocolate. They gave these waffles an "ok" rating. I thought they were good, but not fantastic. We used just syrup on them and i thought that the syrup made them sweet enough. They were light and fluffly, not crispy on the outside. I would use this recipe as more of a dessert waff ..."

"I really liked this recipe. It is quick and easy to do and small amount of clean up. I used honey in place of stevia. I think it really needs some nuts or berries to make them "pop" otherwise they are plain. Hint - must use a coffee cup with straight sides. I used a round shaped mug and it didn't cook up as well. I am going to make up packets with..."

"I just made these and they were good, but there are a couple of changes i would make. First, when wrapping them, you do need to fill them pretty full because when they cook and puff up, mine only had a small amount of filling in them. Second, it had a good taste, but a little flat. Maybe a little cayenne pepper or hot sauce in the stuffing or a..."

"When i first saw the recipe, i thought "it is too easy, it can't be good" and while making it, i was still doubtful, but after eating it---it tastes WONDERFUL!! My family loved it. I used butter instead of margarine and olive oil for the veg oil. Use prepackaged, precooked ham, and this was fairly quick to make."
