We finally bought our first home and I just love it! There are still boxes everywhere, but I see the potential. I have a small galley style kitchen, but it has a door to the patio at one end. In the hallway at the end of the kitchen we had built double-wall ovens, a counter, cabinets, and a pantry. So now I guess it is a "Gourmet" kitchen.
I was born in Hawaii, but raised between NY and Miami. I've also lived in SC and TX. My husband was born and raised in Bogota, Colombia, educated in the Soviet Union and now we have met up in NY. So, we have very eclectic tastes and differ much, but it's exciting!

Tomasi enjoyes a bath!

I also have the genealogy bug! I've been tracing my roots for at least 10 years. One branch came to America just after the Mayflower in the early 1600s. Others came in the early 1700s, late 1890s. So, my American roots run pretty deep and I am deeply patriotic. Just with someone had thought to same me some land!
Ice Cool Kitty is actually a NY Bred Thoroughbred racehorse.
Roast beef, salads, anything grilled. Bacon, mayo, horseradish - OINK!
