"Wonderful little tea-cake like cookies. So rich, and the best vanilla flavor ever! Definitely a keeper that will be a wonderful addition to my Christmas cookie baskets, and so easy too! Thank you so much for posting this one. :-"

"So yummy! My mother also made this while I was growing up and used pecan pieces as well. It's so good, and I'm glad to add it to my "go to list" for get togethers. Light and so good! Thanks for posting!! : "

"Totally delish! Made this for Thanksgiving this year and have been requested to make for Christmas dinner appetizer as well. Everyone loved it, including me and I'm not a big guacamole fan...all of the other ingredients w/ it keep the guacamole from being too overpowering...YUM! Thanks for sharing Julesong. : "

"Thanks for posting, this is exactly how my mom makes it, and with her work sked I haven't been able to catch her, I knew I would recognize it if I saw it...mainly needed measurements. Now I can make it for her this year! Definitely Southern and well loved here in Texas! Happy Holidays!! ="

"Looks to be very similar to my Nanny's chicken & dressing! : She uses 2 packages of cornbread, probably 8-10 eggs, 2 onions, and all of the meat of a small boiled hen. Yours is the first I've seen that also uses boiled eggs...she always says she wanted to be sure her eggs were done..LOL. Must be something with the "Nanny/ie" name! Yummy, yumm..."

"Great recipe, I got a slight variation from another Army wife years ago...We put a layer of tots on the bottom of the dish then the meat/soup mixture then cheese, and then do it again...it's really yummy that way too. Oh and we use cream of potato soup and I have mixed with it cheddar cheese soup and cream of celery too. YummY! : "

"I love these as well. When my DH and I married nearly 23 years ago a friend gave me a cookbook called "Where's Mom Now that I Need Her", and it was in there...thanks for posting, not sure where that book is right now! YUM!! Gonna have to have some of these this week! PS: I always use the yellow mustard, mine didn't call for the dried. : "

"I was browsing recipes thinking about making soup on this rainy day and found your recipe. It makes me think a lot of the ghoulash my Mom & Step-dad have always made so it gave me a great start. The changes I made were to use fresh onion, wagon wheel pasta (a little tougher and stands up better to re-heating, a 28 oz can of crushed tomatoes (wh..."

"Yummy! Along with the beer I added garlic and dried minced onions to the roast and cooked over night. In the morning when I shredded the meat along with the bbq sauce I also added Liquid Smoke...we like our meats smokey! Used Stubb's original sauce and just a drizzle of honey, afraid that a 1/4 cup would be too sweet as we like to taste the "vi..."
