"Simple and tasty. Was looking for a recipe without the parmesan, as I use it a lot and one son prefers without. Cut back on the garlic a wee bit, although if it was just for me I'd go for it!"

"Tasty, but didn't indicate where to add the 1/2 c sugar. My daughter was making it and almost missed it but added it at the end. Seemed a little heavy on the poppy seed, but perhaps because of the sugar, it didn't rise as much. Very nice simple recipe though"

"Good stew. To save time I did not cook the onions and celery ahead, just added with the rest of vegetables and simmered everything about 25 min. The flavor was still great. Also spiced up the meatballs a little and added some eggs, milk and breadcrumbs for juiciness."
