New Topic Recipe ID #393795 question regarding golden brown finish. in Cooking Q & A

"I tried the recipe ID #393795. I found that using chicken thighs, in peanut oil, and the length of time to fully cook the pieces, gave the outer skin/coating a dark brown look...not the golden brown finish I was hoping for.
Perhaps I just don't know how to use a deep fryer, or because it was my first attempt at this recipe, but I wish I new why th..."
