    Reviewed Sesame Broccoli

"Great flavor, but the sauce was so thin that it just ran off the broccoli and gathered at the bottom of the bowl. When I make it again I'll try to add a little corn starch or something to help thicken the sauce so it will coat the broccoli better."

    Reviewed Fresh Orange Muffins

"I made a batch of these up. With a house full of people they have barely been touched. I bought an orange specifically for this recipe so I wonder if my orange wasn't as flavorful as it smelled. It's a good possibility considering it's February. Everyone agreed that they weren't bad, they just need something. I may make up a orange glaze to driz..."

    Reviewed Strawberry-Orange Smoothies

"My freezer went on the fritz (and of course it happens on Superbowl Sunday) so here I am trying to find recipes to use up the contents of my freezer. DD wanted smoothies as soon as I pulled the bag of strawberries out. Most smoothie recipes have bananas in them. But I didn't have any on hand so I was happy to find this recipe. DD gave it 4 stars a..."

Reviewed Miso Soup With Shiitake Mushrooms and Tofu

"I had leftover vegetable broth, so I used that for 1/3 of the water. I used firm lite silken tofu cut into small cubes. 4 stars from everyone (until DD figured out that was tofu-ha,ha)"

    Reviewed Miso- Glazed Salmon

"Very sweet but tasty. DH gave this 4 stars. Next time I am shooting for 5 by reducing the amount of brown sugar or adding something with a little zip to balance it out. Prep time and cook time was so quick, makes a great busy night meal. Thanks Vino-girl!"

    Reviewed Loaded Baked Potato Salad

"I did notice that is was kind of thin and could have used more potatoes. It may have been due to the light versions of cheese, sour cream and miracle whip that I used. It still had plenty of flavor though. I only tasted it so I let my family rate this, they gave it 4 stars."

Reviewed Vegetarian Spinach, Cheese and " Sausage" Casserole

"I had to cook my casserole quite a bit longer to get it to set, but that may have been due to the cottage cheese I used. I have noticed that some brands of low fat or reduced fat cottage cheese are less runny than others."
