"This has been my go-to Stew recipe for the crock pot for awhile. If it's a rich stew with a thick gravy you're looking for, this is it. I use Tony Cachere's Gravy mix, substitute beef broth for the water and split the veggies to 1 cup corn and 1 cup green peas. Definitely stir well after 2 hours. In my crock pot it is done in exactly 6 hours on hi..."

"I needed a rib recipe for the oven that didn't need a marinade and this was it. Glad I found it. I used a 5lb. slab of spares and followed the directions except I used light brown sugar (no dark brown on hand and added a half teaspoon of cayenne for some heat. Cooked for 2 1/2 hours at about 330 degrees. I was afraid a higher temp would burn the ..."

I also added a few teaspoons of sriracha rooster sauce to kick it up and a handful of cilantro. Ariba has a cilanto/garlic salsa but it was more garlic tha..."

"Good and easy. I followed the recipe and it actually made 10 enchiladas using 8" tortillas. Luckilly I had extra cheese & salsa verde. I soak my torts in hot oil for a few seconds rather than microwave them, added a pinch of cumin to the chicken mix and plated with cilantro leaves and jalapenos on the side."

"Nothing at all wrong with this recipe. My family enjoyed it. I didn't need a knife to separate the pieces after cooking. My 4.9 pound chicken was done when I checked it with a thermometer (I dont trust the pop-ups after 6 hours. I actually think it got done after about 5 hours. I have a feeling the spice mix would work good on a smoked or grilled..."

"Very simple to make. Thank you!Prepared exactly as posted. One pound made 4 thin pattys. 1/2 inch pattys would not have been very big around. Next time I'll either get 1.5 pounds or make only 3 pattys. Also, I like 'em HOT so I'll probably use 4-5 chipotles."
