Reviewed Julia Child's Risotto Al La Piémontaise

"Simple but excellent! I did a store demo using this recipe to showcase chicken boullion cubes. People kept loving this recipe so much I ended up having to write it on napkins and passing it out... like 20 times! People raved about the recipe, and no wonder, Julia Child was the best! The only thing that we have added was about 2-3 tablespoons of..."

    Shared Recipe Betty Crocker Waffles

"You just can't beat tried-and-true Betty Crocker! Whether you use the "Basic" or "Richer" version, it will be your favorite GO-TO recipe for waffles forever! From the 1961 cookbook (don't worry... the directions are MY words, so don't worry about copyrights!), this basic formula is always the best.

Personally, I double or TRIPLE the RICHER rec..."

Shared Recipe English Pastry Crust for Meat Casseroles

"This is a very traditional recipe for English Pastry CRUST which is used as a top and bottom crust for a meat-filled pie/casserole. It needs to be chilled before using, so you need to make this ahead of the actual main dish you are going to make with it.

    Some filling suggestions are:

    About Me

Having been born/bred in NJ and moving to WY, I've experienced a lot of change in my life! But cooking has always been a joy. I learned at my mother's knee, as she taught me when I started in high school and she started back to full-time work. By the time I graduated, I was doing most of the daily cooking at home and all my mother's friends were jealous!

I would love to have a decent kitchen, and a decent "audience" to cook for, but I'm limited by size and a "significant other" who thinks the only thing that's decent to eat is steak and potatoes! Creativity is out the window!

    Favorite Foods

PASTAAAAAAAAAAA is such a favorite! I could eat it 7 days a week if it weren't such a waist-buster. Among the family favorites is Irish stew which is so simple but so delicious. I guess I love all those foods that aren't good for you, but I do well enough with those that are good. I only wish I could eat "healthier" if I wasn't limited by my "co-eater" that doesn't like healthy foods.
