    "This was AWESOME! I had some mushrooms, so I sauteed one small package with about 2 T of garlic and 2-4 T of chopped onion. Set this aside, then added it just after the bacon to the casserole pan. Bacon is not optional! This is where most of the flavor comes from. For the topping, I didn't have breadcrumbs, so I used corn flake crumbs. I also used..."

    "It took longer to sauté the mushrooms and onions, more like 8-10 minutes, but I like them done a bit more. The whiskey also took about 10 minutes or so to boil off. About half-way through baking, I re-spooned the sauce over the chops. When I turn on the oven, I put the potatoes in the oven for baked potatoes. We LOVE this easy to fix recipe!"
