"Tasty. I omitted the zucchini and added extra mushrooms. Thanks for posting."

Reviewed Cheesy Torn Corn Tortilla Casserole (Meatless)

"Tasty dish - kind of like a merge between a taco casserole and a quiche. I added a layer of ground round (vegetarian ground beef) with taco seasoning (like the previous reviewer) to make it a bit more hardy. The buttermilk I bought for this dish had spoiled so I subbed half and half. Turned out great. Good texture and flavor. This is something I wo..."

    Reviewed Beef Jerky

"I love how simple this jerky marinade is. Plus, I was specifically looking for something without worcestershire sauce. It comes together easily and makes a great tasting jerky. I used minced garlic in place of powder and loved the kick that comes from the red pepper flakes. Thanks for posting. This is a great recipe!"

"We enjoyed these turkey burgers. They were easy to put together, stayed moist, and had a good flavor. I served these with some cooked mushrooms, mozzarella cheese, and ketchup and sriracha. Tasty!"

    Reviewed Easy Dinner Rolls

"These dinner rolls taste great. They take a bit of preparation with all the rising times, but the hands-on work is pretty straightforward. I took these to a potluck and got good reviews. They are a tasty, sweeter roll. Not sure how others are able to get them to look so pretty. I rolled them into balls and they kind of rose and baked all together. ..."

    About Me

Ever since I can remember I've enjoyed cooking. I would say that I am adventurous in the kitchen and like to try new dishes and ingredients. I am lucky to live in an area that promotes local farmers and local foods. One of my favorite seasons is summer because of all the farmers markets and u-pick farms. As my name suggests, I am a junkie to this site, it's been a great way to try new recipes and learn new things about cooking.

    Favorite Foods

Asian cooking, primarily chinese, sichuan, and japanese.

Anything local, in season, and organic. I especially look forward to rainier cherry season!
