"I was really impressed with this recipe. I didn't want to have to make this when I got home from work, so made it before work in morning. I used ground turkey for the beef, but other than that followed the recipe. I let it cool for about an hour, then wrapped it in foil and put it in the fridge. When I got home from work into the microwave it went...."

    About Me

Ever since I can remember I've enjoyed cooking. I would say that I am adventurous in the kitchen and like to try new dishes and ingredients. I am lucky to live in an area that promotes local farmers and local foods. One of my favorite seasons is summer because of all the farmers markets and u-pick farms. As my name suggests, I am a junkie to this site, it's been a great way to try new recipes and learn new things about cooking.

    Favorite Foods

Asian cooking, primarily chinese, sichuan, and japanese.

Anything local, in season, and organic. I especially look forward to rainier cherry season!
