Well I'm a housewife, recently married (well 6 months ago recently), I've always lived on the west coast of B.C. and love it here. Recent convert to Islam and trying to learn some tricks to cook Halal (or the Islamic equivalent of Kosher) I enjoy baking more than I enjoy cooking, but either way I love being in the kitchen. Normally I cook simple things like steamed veggies, bit of chicken breast, maybe some potatoes, but that's just for me. I've recently married a very picky eater. It's hard to get him to eat veggies, and he's very picky about his meat. He likes stews and soups. He's from Algeria, but could eat frozen chicken nuggets and instant mashed potatoes every night if he had it his way. He does enjoy his coffee though. Two to three times a day we sit down for a cup of coffee or tea and muffins, loaf bread, cookies, you name it. I don't own a food processor, blender, hand blender, mixer, anything fancy like that. However I have recently acquired a crock pot which I'm testing recipes on even as I write this. Not sure what else to write.
